The staff and five volunteers had a terrific day at the Arch With a Heart McDonald’s today. We learned more about our McFriends and then went “behind the counter” to really work. It was a fabulous experience. Thank you to Eric, Rich & Kristina for a great day.

Helen served on our staff team as resident caretaker and relief manager. Through the years she touched the lives of countless children and families. When Helen came on duty each evening, the lights went down, the radio station changed to soothing music and our lobby was transformed into “Club Helen”. Helen leaves a lasting and LOVING imprint on our hearts.

Mark your Calendars! The Cans for Kids Collection Day sponsored by McNeilus Companies is Saturday, February 9th.  A McNeilus truck and volunteers will be at the RMH parking lot (850 2nd St SW) to accept your donated aluminum cans and pop tabs from 8:00AM to NOON. All contributions from Cans for Kids help our Rochester Ronald McDonald House!

Thank you to the Ladwig family for spreading holiday joy to the children here this week.  They brought each family a Christmas Cookie Bouquet and one of our largest annual poptab donations.  We are grateful to all our former guests who remember the House through the years.

Guests returned home Monday night to the comfort of brand new Tempur-Pedic beds, thanks to a great donation from Tempur-Pedic and the incredible effort of 160 helping hands.
